Genesis provides you with powerful reports to help monitor your business. 

Here's a brief overview of each G/L Report:

  • Check Register A list of the checks sorted by check number. 

  • Check Distribution Report A list of checks sorted by G/L account number. This is a great way to pinpoint a check that may have been classified with the wrong expense account.

  • Journal Entry Register A list of journal entries that have been setup for the selected period.

  • General Ledger A terrific recap of the transactions posted to each G/L account. You can included complete year-to-date detail for each account, or just print the beginning balance, current month's activity, and ending balance for each account.

  • Trial Balance A quick and easy way to see the balances for each G/L account before printing statements. You will see the initial balance, debits and credits for the current period, and ending balance.

  • Balance Sheet and P/L Statement Genesis makes it easy for you to customize the appearance of the Balance Sheet and Profit/Loss Statements to your liking. The Profit/Loss Statement also includes prior year comparisons for the current period, and for the current year. You can compare performance against last year's numbers on single report!

  • Budgeting Analysis Set up budget amounts for any accounts and Genesis will produce a powerful Budget Analysis for you in seconds. You will know exactly how income and expenses are lining up compared to your budgeted amounts for the current period, and for the year.

  • Statement of Cash Flows A terrific report to use in tandem with your Profit & Loss Statement. This report tells you about your cash position. It provides you with an excellent tool to monitor and manage the cash flow in your business.

  • Financial Ratios Analysis You can tell how your company is performing at a glance through a series of financial ratios. These ratios measure liquidity, asset performance, and other key operating ratios. You can even compare your ratios against industry wide averages provided by the N.H.F.A.
